Great experience from start to finish. Found them through one of their trucks in our neighborhood stating they specialized in older homes. We had moved in about a year and a half ago and now wanted to insulate our attic. Bob was very professional and personable when he came to do our estimate.  During the consultation he recommend we add some insulation to our walls as well which we decided to do. I had to reschedule our installation day due to a work event and they were very understanding and easy to get a new date that worked. I am very happy with the results so far! They got the work done quickly and were very cleanly so getting the house put back together after was a breeze! Highly recommend.

Sean and his team arrived on time and introduced themselves and explained what they were going to do. They answered our questions and before they started work, they laid drop cloths and plastic covers to protect our carpets and floors. When the work was completed, Sean explained the hatch cover and left the house as clean as it was when they walked in. The attic is now fully insulated and we are completely satisfied with the whole experience. From start to they were great. You are in good hands with Casey Insulation.

Casey Insulation just finished our second floor house which had original insulation from the 50's and not so easy to access areas.

First, they are very clean. This is important because insulation (the removal and addition) can be dirty work.

Second, they were polite, quiet, and my wife and I worked from home the entire time without disruption.

Third, their end of day walk-through and call from Bob (owner) asking how everything went was greatly appreciated. An old school style to customer service that I appreciate.

This is one of the only times I've taken time to write a review, because I'm that impressed.

I'd been living in my renovated 3-story Pittsburgh home for 13 years, and grown increasingly frustrated with the third floor. The HVAC system was able to keep the second floor comfortable (we keep the AC at 75... nothing crazy), but the third floor was too hot in the summer (79! 80!) , and too cold in the winter. I had an HVAC company add some extra supply and return ductwork and, while that helped a small amount, the space was still not comfortable.

I had a consultation with another local company that more or less told me that the job couldn't be done.

I found Casey Insulation on google, read the reviews, and called to get a consultation. Bob was professional and responded to all my questions and concerns.

I'd had a bad experience with odors from the blown in cellulose insulation used by the contractors that renovated the home before I bought it and was worried that fiberglass might be just as bad, or worse. Bob explained exactly where he will, and won't use cellulose, and why. He responded to my concerns about fiberglass, and shared the product name (which enabled me to do my own research, as well). When I had questions about adding passive ventilation to the knee-wall and attic spaces, he answered them. When I was not successful in finding a roofer to add the vents I needed, he made a referral to a company he had worked with.

When It came time to do the work, Shaun and the crew were extremely professional, personable, and cleaned up after themselves.

I was very appreciative that they did what they could to limit the number of access holes that had to be cut (they even put one of them inside a closet!), and also very pleased with the quality of the wall patches when they were finished. Before anything was closed up, I was invited to take a peak inside the wall to observe the work, which I really appreciated.

The work took place in October, and I'm writing this review just a few days later. I'll try and report back next summer after we've had some real heat waves, and I've had a chance to see how it does in the winter... but we did have temperatures in the 80s this past weekend and the space was very comfortable. AC had no trouble keeping both floors at temperature, and I never saw the third floor get warmer than the second floor, which has NEVER been the case before, so I am very optimistic.

He is very thorough with his assessment of your insulation needs and has a quick turn around time for getting a quote to you. He is very personable and makes notes of little details that just make a difference. When we signed a contract, they were booking appointments about a month out, which is a great sign that they are a busy and reliable company in high demand. During our installation, Bob's son was on the job along with another crew member. They were very professional and clean! They made sure to explain key points prior to leaving. Bob did a follow-up call that day to see if we had any questions. Truly a great experience and local business.

Bob Casey is a great guy.he’s funny and very knowledgeable about insulating houses.He told me my house would be more comfortable and my air conditioner would run less. I didn’t believe him.On a real hot day my air conditioner would run for 10 hours straight.He told me to trust him, he knows what he’s talking about.He’s said I would notice the difference after a day.You know what he was right.My air conditioner runs less now and house is comfortable.When the air conditioner was running all day we would be freezing.Sean his son and Tim very good at what they do.Nice guys, They also told me your see.They were right.I had to turn the thermostat up. I have never written a Google review before, but we were so pleased with our experience we wanted to share in hopes it might help someone else. After some negative experiences with larger companies, I turned to the Pittsburgh Reddit to find a local family-owned solution to my problems. One company was pushy and trying to make the sale before the estimate even occurred, and the other didn’t give me confidence they could handle my particular attic/roof situation. From the moment I discussed my concerns, Bob had answers and had dealt with this situation before.

We had a great experience with Casey Insulation from start to finish. I knew exactly what to expect, when to expect it, and they kept their word all along the way. Bob is a man of his word, if he says he is going to call you, or send you something, he does. There were no surprises along the way. I was able to research the product and the methods they used, and confirmed they were quality products. He took the time to answer all of my questions, educate me on my home, and to explain what work needed to occur.

On the day of installation, the team arrived on time, answered all my questions, and were all friendly and professional. They checked in with me along the way, they were quick, and cleaned thoroughly up to the point you never would know they were here. I would recommend them to friends and family. If I ever need insulation again, I know who I am calling.
